Local preferences

Your theme preference is stored locally under sn2-guide-theme. If advertising is ever enabled, your advertising choice would be stored under sn2-guide-ad-consent. You can clear stored preferences through your browser's site-data controls. This guide has no player accounts, payments or login forms.

Analytics and advertising

The production site uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-6GEMS4CKPS, on https://www.subnautica2.shop. When analytics is enabled there, the page URL, page title, referrer and browser or device information may be sent to Google. Analytics is disabled on local development and preview sites. Browser privacy controls or content blockers may prevent these requests.

This site does not currently show advertisements. If advertising is added later, ads will load only after you choose Enable ads, the advertising provider will be named on this page, and you will be able to withdraw your choice at any time under Advertising settings in the footer. Advertising consent is separate from analytics.

External links

Links to the official website, Steam and Xbox store pages, YouTube, Discord, Reddit and the official feedback board open external services that apply their own privacy policies. Images used by this guide are served locally. The hosting provider processes the requests needed to deliver the site.
