Subnautica 2 Wiki
How we write our guides
Sources, review dates and recommendations for this independent Subnautica 2 guide.
Official sources first
We build each guide from the official Subnautica 2 Wiki (community-maintained and hosted on the official subnautica.com domain), Unknown Worlds news posts and patch notes, and official store pages. Each article lists the pages that support it. Reading documentation is not the same as testing every recipe or location in the game, and we do not claim hands-on testing.
Early Access and changing content
Subnautica 2 is in Early Access, so recipes, locations, balance and story content can change with each update. Every guide states the update it reflects and its review date. We do not publish invented numbers, coordinates, recipes or codes; details we could not confirm are labelled as unconfirmed.
Artwork and language
The hero image and site icon are original AI-generated illustrations, not game screenshots, official artwork or creature art. Guides are available in English, German, French and Brazilian Portuguese; in-game item names follow the English wiki, so a localized game client may show different names.
Codes
No public reward or promo codes for all players were found in the official sources reviewed on 17 October 2026. The game has a Redeem Item Code button, but the documented codes went to contest winners. The codes page explains that, the Tadpole Pens access key, Twitch Drops and console item IDs. We never publish invented code strings.
